Cavern

This course develops the skills and knowledge to safely conduct dives in environments where direct vertical access to the surface is not possible.  This includes overhangs, ledges, simple openings, and caverns. This course is conducted in the "daylight zone" of any solid rock overhead.

This course will provide you with advanced skills in open water line drills, dive planning, problem solving, equipment configuration, buoyancy skills, and specialized propulsion techniques for diving in the cavern environment. There will be classroom academic sessions, field academics / exercises & is a prerequisite for divers who possess a desire to eventually enter the cave zone.
